Opposite to Port Louis Marina is the Caricom dock for Grenada Port Authotiy. With the increased traffic and larger vessels now berthing close to the Caricom dock some high spots we causing problems for the Mega Yachts as they berthed in Port Louis and for the Port themselves, the larger inter island vessels were also occasionally meeting these high spots.  Intrepid was awadred the contract to remove the high spots and deepen the Caricom/Port Louis interface area. Intrepid used a 50t excavaotr on board a barge. A bin wall barge was was to carry the spoil to a location close by the dredge area and the spoil was offloaded using excavators and Loaders.
